Le pi\u00f9 comuni sono quelle tensive, che iniziano dalla nuca e possono estendersi a tutta la testa fino alla fronte. Sono noti anche fitte alle tempie o dolori sordi e opprimenti, si ha la sensazione di avere un \u00abcerchio alla testa\u00bb. In caso di emicrania, invece, i sintomi sono molto pi\u00f9 accentuati. I dolori si presentano all\u2019improvviso e sono spesso unilaterali. Le persone colpite parlano a volte di una \u00abtempesta nella testa\u00bb. I dolori vengono descritti come acuti, martellanti, pulsanti, contraenti e lancinanti. Si aggiungono inoltre altri sintomi come fotosensibilit\u00e0, nausea e vomito. Durante un attacco di emicrania i sistemi di regolazione del dolore non funzionano correttamente. Ci\u00f2 significa che le persone colpite reagiscono in modo ipersensibile agli stimoli quali luce intensa, rumore, singoli alimenti o alcol. Secondo la dottrina della salute dell'Estremo Oriente, in cui rientra anche la terapia Shiatsu, in caso di emicrania spesso l'energia ristagna nella zona della testa. Sono comuni le tensioni alle spalle e alla nuca. Esse impediscono il flusso naturale dell'energia vitale e causano una riduzione della connessione energetica tra testa e corpo. Lo shiatsu pu\u00f2 dare accesso, tramite il livello fisico, a tematiche che prima non venivano messe in relazione con l'emicrania. \nQuando queste nuove conoscenze comportano un cambiamento delle circostanze di vita, le persone colpite sviluppano un senso di empowerment e di cura della propria persona. I partecipanti allo studio sono stati trattati con un antidepressivo, con lo shiatsu o con un abbinamento di entrambi. Lo shiatsu ha ridotto il bisogno di antidolorifici pi\u00f9 dell'antidepressivo e, a differenza di quest'ultimo, non ha provocato effetti collaterali.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"brz-text-lg-justify
